Jenny was one of this week’s featured runners and went on to send us her top fundraising tip:
“Keep as much as possible of your publicity and administration for events online to save money.
I’m holding a ceilidh, and to minimise costs I have opened a PayPal account so that tickets can be purchased online. I have then arranged an e-ticket to be automatically emailed to the ticket holder to print themselves and bring with them on the night. That means we have no printing costs and almost all of the ticket money goes directly to the charity I am supporting, with the only cost being for the venue.”
Thanks Jenny – great suggestions.
If you’d like to share your top fundraising tip and be entered into our competition for a £100 donation, or if you’d like to be a featured runner, just email your tip and Justgiving page address to sophie@justgiving.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
